Yerba Mate Recipe

Usually, I drink yerba mate in a gourd with a bombilla, but when I want to get fancy, I use these recipes!

The bitter taste of yerba mate goes beautifully with certain spices and flavors. Here are a few recipes we love!

Mate Latte
2 tea bags “mocha chocolate” brewed and kept hot (about 12 oz.)
2 cups hot coconut, almond or hemp milk
2 tbs honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar
-Mix Ingredients together and top with more foamed “milk”

Creamy Mocha Yerba
2 tea bags “mocha chocolate” brewed and kept hot
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla
2 tsp honey, maple syrup or 10 drops of stevia
1 cup hot coconut, almond or hemp milk
-Mix ingredients well and serve in mug.
 
Spicy Ginger
1 tea bag of “Detox” or “Skinny” yerba mate or 8 oz. brewed mate, chilled
8 oz. ginger ale
2 cups crushed ice
- Mix well
-Rim glasses with lemon juice and cover with sugar
 
Coconut Water Hydrating Yerba
1 “Skinny,” “Mocha Chocolata” or “Naked” Tea Bags– brewed and cooled to at least room temp (about 6 oz.)
1 cups coconut water
2 tbsp. maple syrup, stevia or honey
-Mix ingredients well and enjoy
